happy meal around the world - march

Finally, I was able to do my rounds for our Happy Meal Around the World for the month of March. As expected most Happy Meals around the world features the Croods. The interesting thing is not all sets are the same. In some part of the world only the "animals" were released, in some part the set includes Eep, Grug or Guy. In total, there are nine figures to complete the Crood set.

In non-Croods country, toys are Spongebob, Power Ranger, Shaun the Sheep, Looney Tunes and McDigi set.

transformers botcon 2013 exclusive: voyager class megaplex

Here is another Botcon 2013 exclusive, Voyager Class Megaplex. The color scheme used is a little dull in my taste. I think metallic gray will do the work. Megaplex is a recolor of Dreadwing and Skyquake.

happy meal philippines - the croods

McDonalds Philippines is featuring toys from the animated movie The Croods of Dreamworks. Unlike the usual toys from Happy Meal when they feature animated movies, the figures are way too smaller than previous release like in the Rise of the Guardians.
The toys all have the same gimmicks. You have to stack a tower like structure with a character picture on top. Then, you will try to hit it with the figure of your character with the launcher included in the set. There are 8 toys to collect fot the Philippines set. The US release does not include Eep and Grug.
The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world's first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures -- and their outlook is changed forever.

lego minifigure: pop star

“This one goes out to all my fans!”

The Pop Star is at the top of the charts. Her last three albums went platinum and her videos are in non-stop rotation on all the music channels. She travels the world in limos and private jets and has more fans than she knows what to do with.

No matter how famous she gets, though, the Pop Star is still a normal girl who dances around her bedroom singing to the mirror, likes to hang out with her friends at the movies, and loves a good burger and fries!

next on: happy meal us

Here is the next set of toys for Happy Meal US featuring Dreamwork's The Croods.
The Croods is a story of a prehistoric family who lost their cave and have to embark in a journey to find another place they could call home.
Now with the toy, I really hope that the Philippines will have a different set like Ice Age 3. I would like to see action figures of the characters instead of these not-so-sure-what-it-is.
